Core – The Center of the Body
In Pilates, the principle of centering plays a key role. The focus is on activating the deep core muscles – the so-called Powerhouse – and consciously controlling every movement from this stable center. Control over one’s body begins in the core, specifically in the deep muscles of the abdomen, pelvic floor, and lower back.
Breathing in Pilates
Breathing plays a central role in Pilates. It is deliberately coordinated with movement: you inhale to gather strength – and with the exhale, the movement flows. This conscious breathing not only promotes harmonious movement execution but also relieves the heart and improves body control.
Dear Viktoria, I feel wonderful! Thank you once again for the special session yesterday. See you next Saturday. Best regards, C.

Viktoria's Bio
From a successful management career through motherhood to my true calling.
Moving to Germany meant that I had to put my childhood dream of becoming a dancer on hold. But I adapted quickly, learned German, completed my high school diploma, and pursued an international career in wholesale and foreign trade. My love for languages and deep curiosity about different cultures have always been a part of me.
Becoming a mother changed my perspective on life. I realized how important it is to focus on what truly matters—because happy children grow up with happy parents. That’s when I made the decision to stop postponing my own dreams and start turning them into reality. From that moment on, the idea of sharing my passion for health and movement with others never left me.
To me, true health is about so much more than just physical fitness. My training also nurtures mental clarity and emotional balance. With a compassionate approach and plenty of positive encouragement, I support you every step of the way on your journey to a healthier, more fulfilled life.
I speak German, English, Russian, and Dutch, which allows me to connect with people from different cultural backgrounds and guide them in a way that truly resonates with them.
The birth of my first daughter in 2008 sparked my interest in health and prevention. That was also the moment I decided to lose the 30 kg I had gained during my first pregnancy. Since 2009, I have maintained my weight through mindful eating and regular exercise, including yoga, Pilates, and long walks. I have experimented with various diets—from Atkins to vegan—and have found that the Mediterranean diet suits me best. It’s delicious, simple, and sustainable.
I deepened my expertise through my Bachelor's degree in "Preventive Health Management" in Bremen (2013–2021), where I specialized in prevention in different settings and sports psychology. I obtained my first Pilates certification in Cologne (2020), continued my education in Munich (2023), and mastered the Pilates Reformer repertoire for both beginners and advanced practitioners. Since 2020, I have been working as a self-employed Pilates trainer and prevention coach in Düsseldorf. In 2023, I became a service partner of Health Tourism Düsseldorf, and since 2024, I have been a member of the Pilates Association.
After spending twelve years in the Netherlands, I returned to Düsseldorf in 2020, where I now live with my husband and three children—right next to the beautiful Aaper Forest.
